Quests

Summary

Quests are available in the Campaign Mode and in the Custom Game Mode.

Quests typically involve producing/delivering specific items to volcanoes or selling items in the Market in order to unlock new buildings, perks, or upgrades. They serve as the player's primary form of progression through the game.

Accessing the Quest List

There are two ways you can access the quest list:

• Selecting the Quests button in the upper-left side of the screen. This button is in the Quests window.
• Selecting the Misc button, then selecting the Quests button.

Quest Types

Select the Quest Type to view details about those quests.

Quest Types:

• Primary Quests - These are the main quests that are required to unlock new islands, grow and expand your factory, grow your population, improve your population's happiness, and eventually complete the game.
  Quests with the image indicate a new quest, usually from the Volcano.
• Side Quests - These involve delivering items to Markets or Volcanos. You earn Volcano XP or Perk Points for completing these quests.
• Upgrades Quests - These require a specific amount of certain resources to be produced, and reward you with Upgrades for your buildings.
• Cultivation Quests - These require you to gain Mastery in the various crop types, and reward you with the ability to plant that crop anywhere on your islands.
